Most skin cancer cases are caused by excessive exposure to the sun and UV radiation. Among the different types of skin cancer, melanoma is the most aggressive and the main cause of mortality for these types of cancer.
Sarcomas are malignant tumors originating in the musculoskeletal system (soft tissue). These are detected by abnormal lumps or “little bulges” in any part of the body.

A clinical guideline that may help in identifying potential skin cancer is the ABCDE rule.
A - Asymmetry: Half of the spot does not look like the other half.
B - Border: The spot does not have well defined borders..
C - Color: Changing into different colors: brown, black, blue, and red
D - Diameter: Larger than 6mm
E - Evolution: Changes in a previously normal spot
